La historia de la Banda

Soulless Heart, es el nombre del proyecto solista del guitarrista Jean Carlo Mejía quien también es actualmente uno de los guitarristas de la banda de djent peruana Vertebrac, quien ha lanzado su primera producción solista al público el pasado agosto del 2015 titulada "Emociones Efímeras" bajo la producción de The Digitalist Studio y Arte gráfico de Nojja.

"Emociones Efímeras" contiene 12 temas totalmente instrumentales en donde se vierten influencias que a lo largo de los años formaron parte de uno como lo fue en sus inicios el nu metal y el metalcore en sus diversas variantes hasta lo actual que conlleva al math y djent metal progresivo ambiental.
Este trabajo proyecta una mística psicodélica en un viaje desde lo sutíl hacia lo oscuro y viceversa en muchos de ellos, como en otras tambien el pasar de lo agresivo y ataque hacia ondas ambientales densas y sórdidas embriagadoras.

Soulless Heart – “Viuda Negra Spectrvm” es el segundo trabajo discográfico solista instrumental del guitarrista Jean Carlo Mejía, cuyo material de 13 contundentes temas fueron compuestos y grabados durante la temporada final del 2015 y principio del 2016, presentando en esta oportunidad un disco diferente en potencia y dinámica referente al primer material lanzado el año pasado “Emociones Efímeras”.
Para este nuevo disco se utilizaron tanto en la creación como en la grabación guitarras de 6, 7 y 8 cuerdas con diversas afinaciones baritónicas para cada tema en forma particular, enfatizando mayor aun la tendencia al agresivo y progresivo propiamente dicho envuelto en variantes de la gran gama del metalcore influyente de nuestra generación pasada, pero aun así se mantuvo en cada uno de ellos el brillo particular del djent ambiental con sus cleans hipnotizadores y embriagantes, cuya temática de composición en general para cada tema estuvo influenciada bajo un estado de intros de trance seguidos de una continua descarga de sufrimiento y rabia mental en lo que respecta a los riffs soberbios que conlleva cada uno de sus diversos compases y poliritmias.

Soulless Heart is the name of the solo project of guitarist Jean Carlo Mejia, who is also currently one of the guitarists of the band djent Vertebrac Peruvian, who has released his first solo production to the public in August 2015 entitled "Ephemeral Emotions" under The production Digitalist Studio and graphic art Nojja.

Soulless Heart - "Black Widow Spectrvm" is the second solo instrumental album by guitarist Jean Carlo Mejia, whose material 13 strong tracks were composed and recorded during the final season of 2015 and beginning of 2016, this time featuring a different disk power and dynamics relating to the first material released last year "Ephemeral Emotions".
For this new album were used in the creation and the guitars recording 6, 7 and 8 cords with various baritónicas tunings for each topic in particular, emphasizing even more the tendency to aggressive and progressive itself wrapped in variants of the great range of influential metalcore our past generation, but still remained in each particular brightness environmental djent with its mesmerizing and intoxicating cleans, whose theme composition in general for each subject was influenced in a state of intros trance followed by a continuous discharge and mental suffering rage regarding the proud riffs that carries each of the various bars and polyrhythms.
